Are you able to run the command "/usr/bin/whoami" manually without issues? Where did you locate libc.so.6? Is it the 32 bit or 64 bit version? You can tell by using the file command on it "file foo". Try running our startup script manually to invoke a shell from your data directory:
cd /notesdata
/opt/ibm/lotus/notes/latest/linux/startup /bin/bash
and then see how things look. At this point, you should have our environment and so you could just run the server directly (/opt/ibm/lotus/notest/latest/linux/server) under strace -f to see what is generating the error.
I'm wondering if maybe you don't have the 32 bit libraries installed, which would cause issues for us, or if perhaps something in your environment settings (such as PATH, LD_RUN_PATH, or LD_LIBRARY_PATH) is causing issues.
Thanks
kenbo
